End of day post-washing up treat.

The unrelenting rain came as a bit of a shock today. As did the sponge which is my bicycle saddle. Lots of getting drenched (I learned *again* that there is no such thing as too short a ride to wear waterproofs), lots of overheating in OAP's houses, lots more getting drenched and zero inclination to spend a second longer than absolutely necessary outside.

Also - a note for motorists. Please don't overtake a cyclist when you need to squeeze between them and a traffic island. It's seriously bloody scary and dangerous and just not necessary. My life isn't worth the 10 seconds you might have saved IF there hadn't been a car coming from the right at the next roundabout that you had to stop for anyway. Don't squeeze past a cyclist (or pedestrian or horse rider etc, etc) full stop.
