Black & White challenge - day 1

Graham Colling Challenged me to the Black & White Challenge - and who am I to refuse, even though this looked better in colour!

I took an afternoon walk up Latrigg, and it started raining - horizontally, but just on the way down back to Keswick, the sun popped out through the rain over causey pike and gave a few amazing crepuscular rays!

At first I thought it was out of focus, until I realised the softening effect of all the rain I was photographing through - I even (somehow) managed to keep the lens dry!
