Obedient Big Balls

This is a busy day of a different sort for both of us. For me, instead of being filled with creative projects and party preparations or paid work, it will check off all the small errands I've been pushing aside, plus the very important civil task of voting in the mid-term elections. The beauty of hitting the voting lines at 8:30 am is that there aren't any lines. For the mister, it's a day of meetings and client face time instead of working from home.

Now home, going to fuel up with some soup and then cut back all the ornamental grasses in the garden. All 21 of them. By myself (it makes the grasses come back thicker next Spring) Yesterday I saw a city maintenance crew out doing the same thing. They had a 3 man crew for the task; one to gather the clump of grass from the bottom and hold it together, one to cut it of with a chain saw and another to stuff it in a tall garden waste recycling paper bag. Cough...

PS. 4:00 pm. Done cutting. It's obvious why they need three people. So they can get it done this century!!!
