Day 26- Irkutsk

We found this statue today of a babr holding a sable, as shown on the Irkutsk coat of arms. Supposedly, the babr is a rare, legendary animal which is a bit like a tiger. According to the sign, the babr and the sable symbolise the 'uniqueness, power and richness of the area.'
