Cup Day

Another disturbed night, with dogs barking, foxes foxing and possums doing what possums do. The farm manager went out shooting foxes to try and protect the few remaining chickens.

All in all, lots going on and a very unsettled Cousteau to boot. He ended up sleeping outside on his bed, chained up (on a 2.5m chain) so that he couldn't wander into the path of the 22s. He slept well in the end and didn't seem to mind being out there.

We got up late this morning and cleaned and tidied the house. It looks soooooo much better and we're pretty happy to be relaxing in a clean home.

This was taken during our evening walk. It has got warmer as the day went on and was pretty toasty for our walk. Cousteau found some water to drink and to splash in, so he was happy.
