Mrs Blue gives Monro the message !

Decided today would be Melbourne Cup Day as after 60 years of tuning in to the race I did some appropriate photos - like everyone else at 4.30 in Aus/NZ I downed tools, imbibed a favourite and some blue cheese nibbles and at back to watch the race. However the aftermath with the loss of Admire Rakti brought back awful memories for me of seeing a similar happening at the local racecourse 50 years ago... So I'm ignoring the race and up with the first blip of the day....only got the one of this action as Monro was doing his Í'll ignore her - this is not happening' act - then promptly took to his scrapers and fled to'the safety of the fence. Fall about laughing, victory to Mrs Blue - again !
