Jaws?

I went to an interesting talk tonight - part of the "Auckland Conversations" series. A couple from Vancouver spoke about the cycle culture of their city and planning for a way of life relying on bicycle and public transport to get around. This couple and their 2 children (now 5 and 8) have been doing this since 2010. Food for thought.....
I decided to bike to the venue - seemed the appropriate thing to do. Got there a little early, no parking hassles so went to have a look at the "Sam Simon", latest and fourth addition to the Sea Shepherd fleet.
