The web

Not quite World Wide - but pretty big:)

I first noticed this cobweb one morning after a few showers of rain. It is absolutely enormous - wider than my arms can stretch in any direction and looks as though the unseen owner had tried to encompass the whole camellia tree.

I have been keeping an eye on it - sometimes damage is evident, but always neatly repaired the next morning. I haven't met the creator yet - nor do I really want to - in case it is big too.

Photographing the web posed a problem. To capture the whole web, I had to be at a distance and that gave little indication of the size or beauty. So I decided to go for this partial look at the web which I think shows its wonderful construction.
