Seth Lakeman

This was the first shoot I've done in The Sage and what an extraordinary venue it is! I love it!

I found it difficult to get close shots for this, knowing there was no photo pit and I could only shoot from the sides , or from the back and with a 50mm lens, yes it helped with the lighting but the distance just wasn't to my advantage.

I took this from right back at the sound desk.

I've wanted to see Seth Lakeman for a few years now but didn't catch him when he performed last year the The Gala in Durham; so to get to see him and photograph him too was awesome!
