The horses

The temperature has taken a sudden dip over the past few days - down to 3.5 celsius on the way to work this morning, although it warmed up later. It is the time of year to start bringing the horses into the stable at night. They know when they're on to a good thing, and when I go outside to the stable, they're waiting at the door for their hay and horse-nuts. It must be ok to be a horse - you go outside in the morning to eat in a field all day, then come in to the warmth in the evening to eat something else, and in the morning it starts all over again.
