Screed

So today started with a 6.45am alarm. Painful after my rather more kinder 8am starts. Anyway the school run was a doddle. Dd was up and out with the minimum of fuss.

Then the builders came and screeded the gaps in the floor. They have done a fab job.

I collected ds from nursery and he purposefully stood in the screed.

Dratt!

Then I did work, chatted to a friend, tidied, washed and then got ds before flying to dds parents evening.

It started a little bit stressfully with traffic and dd getting confused with her appointment system.

However.....the reports were glowing. She is doing well. Is happy and top end of class in Maths. Moving forward fast in English! Smashing it in science and geography. She starts her music gcse next year as she is so good and starts theory next week. More chuffed than I can actually say. So so so very proud of her.
