November Theme Challenge Day 3 : Monday Macro – any topic

This morning dawned beautifully bright, calm and clear. I wanted to get an earlyish start at the job through in Tankerness, so my beautiful fiancée took the woofers for their early morning wander.
Once at work I looked out of the window occasionally, or wandered out to the van for something, and wished I wasn't at work, but outside enjoying the fabulous day rather than wrangling pipes. However, that part of the job is nearly finished and with luck a lot of progress will be made tomorrow.
I had in mind what I was going to do for the challenge pic today, but didn't think I would find a dragon head lurking in an old piece of driftwood. HV brought this home from a shore walk a little while ago - it is more holes than wood, having been bored into by some wood munching sea creature.
