Distracted from Books

I was full of good intentions today and I was going to join everyone else and do a Book themed blip for World Book day.

But then the postman got in the way. The 'new' Minolta 28 mm F2.8 prime lense I've been bidding for on eBay arrived in the post and I just had to check it out at lunchtime on the nearest church. So far so good, everything checks out perfectly both optically and mechanically. Pretty impressive for a lens they stopped manufacturing twenty five years go!
