November Theme Challenge: Monday Macro – any topic

This is a macro of a vest feather, the fluffy under coat bit. A birds undies.

Today started with a wander up the hill with the dogs. It was a beautiful start to the day, very still and clear. We investigated an old croft off the beaten track which has been picking at my curiosity all year. Most of the windows were boarded up but I manages to get a glimpse through a small gap, enough to make out an old cupboard, fireplace and very fading wallpaper on a wall.

The rest of the day was spent working a brief shift at old work, some chores in Stromness for My Love and a longer walk with the furry idiots. We went to the Ring of Brodgar where the dogs chased bunnies and I took lots of non-macro photos. This feather came from my stash of fancy chicken feathers and I managed to blip it before the dogs ate it...
