How many light bulbs does it take...

...... before you find the right one!
I have a cupboard full of light bulbs of all shapes and sizes - but I had to buy these today for my outside light fitting.
Bayonet, screw cap, energy saving, pearl, halogen - what happened to the old days when you only had to decide on 100watt or 60watt?
