Bees use the honeycomb, engineers in the aircraft industry use honeycomb for it's inherent strength.
Now it appears that some clever soul has seen a use for honeycombed paper. This came wrapped around a coffee glass which the Garden Fairy bought. Clever, much nicer than the funny paper that Wayne Rooney plays with in the MU dressing room. (Bubble Wrap) :-))
