New tenant.

This is a new resident of my garden. I think it is a gift from the birds.
Has anybody got any idea what it is?
It has introduced a nice splash of Spring colour to the Winter garden and is welcome for that but it is growing so vigorously that I suspect it may be invasive.
The leaves are very distinctive.
I had to do a collage for reasons too complicated to go into.
