Veteran Teddy

Went to watch the start of the London to Brighton car run in Hyde Park. The first car set off at sunrise and as I still haven't worked out how to use my speed light the early shots were rubbish. But as the day progressed the pictures improved. I took loads of the gorgeous old cars but I thought I would post a different take on the historic event. The atmosphere was super- fun, anticipation and a little apprehension on the faces of some of the drivers.

In fact 80% of the cars made it to Madeira Drive in Brighton. Sadly I saw at least two cars which wouldn't start, so the despondent owners were abandoning the adventure.

I thought that, rather than showing off a car picture I would present you with an image illustrating the friendly character of the event. Teddy looks like he is having fun, too.
