What the eye does not see

Catching up after a few days away ....

After I put the mudguards on my bike (a previous blip) I had a look over the rest of it, on the basis that if I fix things now in the garage they won't fail on a Sunday ride just as the rain is beginning .....

This is one of the old valve cores, I knew it was getting a little tight and difficult to undo, but I hadn't realised just how shot it was. As I'm uploading this a few days after the event I'm glad I did change it, yesterday was definitely not a good day for roadside maintenance.

Of course - the sun is out today .......
