Mono Monday : Old and new

I like garlic. One day I'm going to grow some of my own.
It needs to be used up quite soon though, otherwise it goes stale and the whole kitchen takes on the air of - can you smell something going off ?
At last I've realised that it's not a good idea to buy those little nets of two or three garlic bulbs, because I really only need to buy one at a time. Which means that I need a smaller terracotta pot to keep it in.
