Ordinary Idiots

I like most birds but I'm not particularly a fan of Pigeons and Starlings, mainly because I think they're stupid and not really problem solvers, unlike the Corvidae or Turdidae families. Here you see a prime example of what I mean. The top of the feeder somehow detached today and the result is one trapped young Starling. It must have been pretty exhausted as I was able to get it out with nary a peck, although it did keep grabbing the side of the feeder so that I had to constantly lift its feet off. Managed to release it and it flew away rapidly.

Minion does not look impressed.
