Lovely day!

Sadly no relevant photos from today's trips out, just a needy cat who pounced on me as soon as I got in to bed...
We took madam to amazon world in the morning which was good, lots of lemurs and monkeys to look at. Little miss had a lovely time pointing at the ducks (all winged creatures are currently 'ducks'!) and shouting "oh no!" at everything in great delight!
In the evening we went to Sandown for the carnival and fireworks. Someone had fun toddling around on her reins, we saw fire breathers and live music, watched all six carnival floats go past (Sadly a bit meagre! Was expecting a few more than that but I think there have been some problems this year) and the fireworks were very good. Madam seemed to enjoy them :-)luckily it stayed clear and dry so a perfect night for it. A late night but good fun!
