Happy Halloween

Back-blipping at the end of the weekend...

Friday was an early start for me and the kids to head to the airport and fly to France to visit our friends.

We arrived just in time for lunch outside in sunshine so hot it felt like the middle of summer, rather than the start of autumn. An afternoon catching up and chatting in the sun followed until it was time to carve pumpkins and decorate the house and paint faces for some Halloween "le bon bon o mort" (with apologies for the spelling).

A fine roast duck dinner and then sitting around the outside fire waiting for Carlos to arrive and the weekend to kick-off properly.
