Bonfire Red

I woke to heavy rainfall against the window. Such a contrast to yesterday. After watching the rain ease off I ventured out to buy some paint and other DIY items. It was very busy out and I was glad to get home and have some lunch away from the crowds. One of the colour paint samples I got for the bedroom looks good now it is up on the wall so I am pleased about that as it can be difficult to find a colour you like. Then I oiled my oak doors - the grain of the wood is so much clearer now. A gentle walk before tea and the weekend is nearly over. A few fireworks went off this evening. No doubt there will be plenty more as the week progresses.
