Botanical Garden Squirrel

A bit past Halloween but our kids had fun on a pumpkin hunt at the Edinburgh Botanical Gardens today. Rather spookily, the hunt ended up at the Terrace Cafe where coffee, cakes and other refreshments could be purchased. And the review process to ascertain that all the pumpkins have been spotted seemed somewhat lackadaisical to say the least.

A squirrel is not exactly a rare sight, especially at the Edinburgh Botanical Gardens. But I was still surprised how close I was able to get before it realised I wasn't coming offering peanuts.
