Dia de los Muertos Shopping

The streets full of Dia de los Muertos goods continue to inspire. I spent a half hour simply sitting and watching the frenzied madness this morning before I even attempted any photography. I think the time without a camera in front of my face may have sharpened my eye. After watching I knew the type of image I wanted, one that conveys the motion of the market while communicating a sense of place. I scouted around the many stalls and was able to get behind this flower vendor in order to capture the rush of shoppers. Of course, luck played a part as well when this guy with an armload of colorful flowers passed through the scene as I was happily snapping away.
