The first Kennedy's shop opened in 1877, then over the years many more branches were opened, including the following (listed alphabetically) BECKENHAM, BROMLEY (2 branches), CAMBERWELL GREEN, CROYDON, DEPTFORD, HERNE HILL, PECKHAM (2 branches) PENGE, SOUTH NORWOOD (Grade ll listed), WALWORTH ROAD (Grade ll listed) and WEST WICKHAM. The Head Office and Factory was situated at 86 Peckham Road, Peckham. The following items were sold in their shops around South London, PORK SAUSAGES and CHIPOLATAS, BEEF SAUSAGES, PORK & BEEF SAUSAGES, CAMBRIDGE SAUSAGES, PORK PIES, PORK BACON & EGG PIES, STEAK PIES, STEAK & POTATO PIES, SAUSAGE ROLLS, CORNISH PASTIES, PUFF & SHORT PASTRY, FRUIT PIES, CHRISTMAS PUDDINGS also BACON, COOKED MEATS, SAVELOYS, CHEESE, COLESLAW etc', Sadly the last 8 branches at Bromley, Camberwell Green, Croydon, Deptford, Penge, South Norwood, Walworth Road, West Wickham and the Factory and HQ at Peckham closed on 22nd December 2007.
