Mulled wine break . . .

Time to do the big autumn tidy up of the community garden. Lots of cutting back, weeding, bulb planting, raking up of leaves and the final grass cutting of the year, but there were plenty of us so we got a lot done. It was an abandoned mature garden, right in the middle of St Margaret's Hope, surrounded by houses and trees, which the garden club took over about 15 years ago. A lovely place to wander round or just sit, and very sheltered, it even boasts an apple tree with apples on it!

Tradition dictates that everyone brings home bakes and there is always mulled wine to help keep us going! Ollie was very good and did his best to ignore the cakes that were just about nose level!
