Sailing the Hjordis

We started our day with a morning sail on the Hjordis. I chose this photo because it shows her signature plum-colored sails. We have seen the Hjordis sailing in and out of the harbor many times so it was fun to actually go for a ride.
We didn't get much of a ride because there was no wind and we mainly moved by motor power, but we still enjoyed getting out onto Lake Superior and seeing Grand Marais and the Sawtooth Mountains from the other side.
