Health and Safety?? Where are you??

Another lovely day so we went to Alpen, a small town near us that had a Sunday Market,lovely town centre, untouched by the WW2, as they hung Sheets from their Windows and surrendored, luckily the attacking troops were Brits and Canadians, the air strikes too, so the town was spared. Been a different story if they had been our US Cousins! (they invented the term "Friendly Fire")
There was a Display of old Tractors, this one was running, it looked like a single cylinder, and that big wheel was Spinning round at a fair lick. It was a stationary engine, used to Drive the Threshers etc, that wheel is about 12 inches from a Drivers knee, too close to comfort! Impressive , sheer power!
