World Book Day

Each of the books in this book case is a little time/memory capsule. It is not that I can remember the contents, especially the 1927 edition of the Encyclopaedia Britannica bought at auction for £6, but the circumstances of each book -- where it was read and when, good times or bad times, people around at the time. Some are autographed, some have droplets of coffee, some are old but none very new. The new ones are in other bookcases or piled in boxes, waiting for new homes.
