Over the moon?

We spent a sunny afternoon at the Valley in London., supporting the home team. At this point in the match, there seemed little chance that we would feel over the moon at full time. But a well played second half and an equaliser sent us on our way happy at least.

November Challenge by Chantler63 (look at challenges under Forums) has us thinking, on Saturdays, about our five senses. The football (or soccer for those elsewhere) certainly gives one a lot to listen out for but I am sure would be equally pleasurable without sound. There is a lot to see but I heard an interesting radio programme about blind and partially sighted football fans going with someone who commentates for them. Touch, smell and taste are the minor players, sense wise, for football.

I know there will be many out there wondering why we don't have more sense and do something more interesting on our day trip to London.
