SURPRISE CALL....

.... had a few things on the list today to have done, but a surprise call from our daughter (Alice's mum) to ask if we felt like a lunch at The Carrington Hotel in Katoomba?

Well, Alice (our Grand Daughter) being involved what do you thing... the list was thrown in the bin and being a really nice Spring day off we went.

Even charged out without the camera so the iphone came in good use.

And being so close to Blackheath - which as a lot of you know is the territory of the "second Blip world" or so it seems, with many lovely Blippers living in this area just had to do pic of the wonderful Rhododendron flower, with their Festival in full flight this weekend.

And I liked this stained glass window and panelling looking out into the wonderful gardens of the Hotel.

Needless to say we all had a top afternoon.
