Dave's take off site

We we went in search of the World War 2 airfield where be's Dad flew sorties from, to find enemy submarines in the Norwegian fiords.
We found it, now a karting track at Banff.

Turned out that the Scottish Karting champs were on in 2 days time. One of the club members showed us around and also some old airfield photos from nearly 70 years ago. Thanks Fraser.

So be's book on Dave's life now has mental pictures to go with the words.

BTW S2, thanks for the excellent reproduction of that book. A brilliant idea and very much appreciated.
