I'm fortunate to have a very good Polish/Russian market very close to home - a rarity even in the ethnically diverse San Francisco Bay Area. Today I stopped by to purchase ingredients for Polish zurek soup, a taste I acquired during my travel to Poland earlier this year. They stock a wide variety of sausages - the ones pictured here were wrapped in colorful packaging but I chose the traditional Polish keilbasa and kiszka instead.
