So much beauty

Thursday was our last real day in Hawaii, and we certainly made the most of it. I started my day with a walk around the house photographing all the pretty flowers. I just adore Hawaiian flowers. This one caught my eye as it wasn't the normal bright colors I usually see. I loved the delicate color.

After packing up a lunch and all our beach goodies we headed out to find yet another beach. We made a stop to watch some surfers for awhile which was fun. Then we found a great beach to spend the rest of our day. It was a perfect day of rest and relaxation. The ocean was lovely, and the warm breeze was perfect. I was reading, "Eleanor and Park", and sooooo enjoying it. What a perfect vacation read. So many locals visited the beach this day. It was fun to see all the local kids and their parents. We were so surprised to see so many dad's bring their kiddos to the beach. It was rare to see a mom joining in.

When we finally wore down of day at the beach we headed on back to our home away from home, and started the task of cleaning up and packing up. Our days in Maui felt perfectly long enough.....we were both missing our families.
