where it all began. gwanghwamun intersection, the heart of seoul. when i started blipping (in 2010), seoul didn't have a modern street naming system fully implemented yet, so these street signs weren't there. in the background, you can see the kyobo building, one of the original "skyscrapers" in this neighbourhood (height limited due to proximity to historical sites and the blue house), and still a landmark in seoul. over 1000 blips, many small alleys packed with old shops and restaurants have disappeared to make way for new development. what will happen in the next 1000? stay tuned.
