Molly

Went back to Flying Eagles, Ballymote, today & had another fabulous visit, not only did we see the birds of prey display, we also saw & other residents, the pick pocket racoon, a rescued fox, chinchilla. Part of the display was outside, then when the rain became heavy, we went into the massive shed for the remainder. This is Molly, the male Barn Owl (named before they knew his sex by a little girl who was visiting). It culminated in my friends producing an unexpected birthday cake for me at the end of the display.
We also went to Lissadell to the geese field on the way back to Donegal, thousands of Barnacle Geese. I've had a fabulous birthday, might blip one or two funny cards next week!
