Belated Hallowe'en

Spinning class at the gym after work & then a gorgeous treat of a hot wax manicure to pamper my poor hands which get so dried out with all the hand washing & alcohol gel at work. Sleep for a couple of hours this afternoon & when I got out of bed & came downstairs hubby had carved & lit this turnip lantern. It was such a surprise & made me chuckle. When i was a wee girl pumpkins were something only in story books & my brother & I occasionally had a turnip lantern on Hallowe'en. They are so much more difficult to carve out.

A lovely relaxing evening with the Hallowe'en episode of Strictly & a wee glass of wine!
