BethaBlip 95...

This is my monthly track of my children as they grow to see how they change as time goes by. I take the same photo in the same place each 1st and 15th of each month along with a wee diary of what has happened and how life has progressed for each of them. Bethany on the 1st and Ewan on the 15th. It is quite remarkable and is accentuated by the 1 year ago thumbnail down in the bottom right.


We’ve just been through halloween. Bethany dressed up as a devil and we did our usual we jaunt round the people in the street that we know. She used a joke her friend told her as her skit. Why did the lemon stop rolling down the hill? Coz it ran out of juice. I don’t think she realised how much it didn’t make sense as a joke. For her lantern, she chose a Winnie the Pooh design off the internet and free hand, transferred it onto her pumpkin for me to cut out.

As we were leaving athletics the other night, one of the coaches was chatting to me and said that she had a bright future. She certainly still seems to enjoy it and does put her all into it from what I can see.

An additional interesting homework assignment this month. They had to make a paper airplane and they then flew them in the class or school grounds. I was chatting to her about it and she said that out of the class, you managed a very impressive, least time in air and least distance. She told me she flew 6 centimetres. I suspect she over exaggerated her airplane fail.

I was asking about what she does in the playground during playtime. She was explaining about the secret paths in the garden section of the playground and the bug hotel. We were down there walking the dog and she showed me these. The paths are just muddy paths that go round the back of the plants and apparently the bug hotel is a pile of bricks which bugs climb on.
