Hey, Mickey!

See how I'm looking the wrong way? Well, that's what I tried to avoid doing all day today as I played the part of a prisoner as an extra in a film called Scottish Mussel.

I was determined not to look at the camera, not to stare at the actors as they said their lines, not to make an arse of myself basically.

We shall find out if I succeeded when the film comes out!

I met some lovely people. A young girl who drives oil tankers in the Merchant Navy, two sisters from Easterhouse who were...characters (and hilarious with it), a married couple who were old hands at the extras game and more famous people than you can shake a stick at. Including the lovely Noel Clarke seen in this blip. I took his picture to impress my boys who are huge Doctor Who fans (he was Rose's boyfriend don't you know!)

Another experience that ticks the box of my New Year's Resolution 'Do things I've never done before' :-)
