Seabirds Perching on Wave-Battered Rocks, Forvie

We set off on a bright sunny autumn morning to walk beside the sea through the Sands of Forvie NNR, only to find clouds beginning to cover the sun just as we arrived!

Nevertheless, we enjoyed a bracing walk along the cliff-top path, and amongst other things, holding the camera steady against the breeze, I was able to capture this view of seabirds perching along the ridge of this spectacular rock as the North Sea waves rolled in.
