Sorting hat needs sorting

Sorry an emergency blip. After 4 days of full-on child caring, I'm whacked. Yesterday I went back to town with #3 daughter and little ones. There were road works on the A1 and we were at a halt in them for an hour, which meant the expected three-quarter hour car journey took an hour and three-quarters. Consequently the poor baby was crying for his next food, but a nursery rhyme CD soothed him. Ella was engrossed in "Frozen" on the iPad mini which hangs from the back of her mum's driving seat, so was fine. Thank goodness for technology.

Instead of us all going to Whitley Bay to see #2 daughter and her duo, we had to go straight home to feed the little ones. I then got the metro to Whitley Bay where I was staying the night in order to help with Thomas as his dad was working at the hospital today, and mum still can't lift after her C-section. We had a fun day and all went to see Ella who was going to a Halloween party. She's having trouble with the witches hat. (Not sure the bunny t-shirt is very scary though, but she decided she'd have it on too.)

I met a friend who's over from Ireland and we had a good chat about books, politics and grandchildren, then it was the slow tedious bus journey home. G & T and Strictly now.

And yet again blip can't load my photo, only the journal, so I'm having to faff on with the iMac.
