Bonfire evening

We have been gradually putting together a bonfire of all the wood we seem to have accumulated for years. It occurred to me that there would be less objections to a bonfire this week than usual by the neighbours! We didn't exactly have a mega event, but I am hoping that the extra carbon in the lawn will help the Spring growth. We thoroughly drenched the hedge and the woodwork nearby with the hose and luckily everything has survived. Daughter No.3 was warming herself by the flames before it got a little too exciting!
