I Think I'm Turning Japanese

My grandfather served in the U.S. Army Air Corps, before it became the Air Force, during World War II. He was an aerial combat photographer, and usually flew in the bombers.

This is a navigational map made entirely of pure silk. We have two, and we've had them framed. They're actually quite large, measuring 28" x 28". This is a map of Nagasaki...the site of the second atomic bombing. They hang on the wall right outside my bedroom, and every time I see them, I have fond recollections of my Granddad.
