In a flap

I thought that this elegant little fungus looked like it was wearing a feathery flapper dress! Lots of mushrooms/toadstools (I can't tell the difference) have popped up all over the garden in this season of mists and mellow fruitfulness. Plenty of fruiting fungi, at any rate.

Today was a lovely relaxing one, with a trip to the hair salon and then afternoon tea with the chums. We just had our get-together in Marks and Spencer's, which meant I could buy some nice treats on the way home.

I also bought some new crisp white sheets, as there was a 'home-wear' sale. I love jumping into bed when the sheets and pillow cases are new! Sweet dreams tonight :)
