We have 2 very tired and very contented dogs now.

Apparently they were very good, got on well with my friends 3 dogs, played in the sea with them and joined in chasing after the ball in the woods. Bud did cry the first day and night but settled down after that.

I got a rapturous welcome when I went to pick them up, they almost knocked Tom over in their excitement when we got home, chased madly around the garden to make sure no cats have taken up residence in their absence and then crashed out in their beds and didn't even open an eye when I went into the kitchen.
