Happy Halloween!!

We hope everyone had or is still having a fun and safe Halloween day.
We enjoyed a fantastic Fall Festival at our daughter's school. It was amazing. It was incredibly well organized and laid out and setup - led by our lovely friend MD. It had just the right amount of fun and laughter and running about! It was delightful to see a huge level of school spirit in the majority of those present and people everywhere were decorating their classroom booths, supporting the school with their contributions and by selling donated snacks.
After helping to clean up a bit, we headed home for a bit of a break before reasoning our Halloween gear and heading out to trick or treat.
We visited about 10 houses successfully - getting candy from all and a toothbrush from one!! :)
We only had four groups of trick or treaters come to us - out neighbours had their lights turned off so our house was a dim light at the end of the block! Each group had at least 6 kids though so we stocked them up with toys!
The night fell and then the rain started. It seems in some ways like the biggest treat of all as we so badly need rain in SoCal!
