Berried Ivy
Even after drastic hedge cutting this year, the berried ivy manages to cling on to life and has spread over the front fence. Looking particularly lush in the sunshine when we set off for the clinic this morning. What a gorgeous day.
Treatment #13 went well except for soaring blood pressure. Just as well I'm getting towards the end of the course, I think my body has had enough for now. Some people finish at #10, but I was hoping to get to 15 and do a thorough job. Advice is to leave it till Wednesday for next infusion, take stock and see if it's worth going on to #15. More wait and see, story of my life. Feet up, television and a turn round the garden in the sunshine.
Ben found an article online from some learned chemistry journal which indicates that the gas found in wind can be instrumental in keeping cancer at bay. I took the print-out in to the clinic, you can maybe imagine the rude jokes which followed. So next time your man lets loose, Ladies, the advice is don't roll your eyes and groan, have a good sniff. Who knows, it could save your life! Or you could wait until the stuff the scientists have already replicated becomes available at huge cost to patients and country.
Whatever next???
