5* treatment in Aberdeen Royal Infirmary

Dull but dry morning.

My pacemaker was successfully removed and, hopefully, all the infection dealt with. Later, I was moved to a ward in a new wing - in fact, I am in a large single room with en suite facilities. The nursing care is outstanding and, as they say, I couldn't be in a better place.

I hope to be discharged later today and return home to Dundee.
